How Many Touchpoints do you Need?
Each touchpoint can deliver unique, always-changing content, follow custom rules, send re-engagement notifications, and provide its own analytics.
It’s also an entry point into your Scanpaign – QR codes, geofencing, NFC tags, or any smartphone detectable trigger.
To make sure you get the right number of touchpoints, think of them as something you want to track or personalize when a customer engages with it – like a shirt, sign, location, or table tent.
Example: You sell shirts. You have 5 separate styles of shirts and sell them 2 retail locations.
- Provide ongoing scheduable content and track performance for all shirts as one campaign = 1 touchpoint
- Provide ongoing scheduable content and track performance for all shirts sold at each location = 2 touchpoints
- Provide ongoing scheduable content and track performance for 5 shirt types separately = 5 touchpoints
- Provide ongoing scheduable content and track performance for 5 shirt types separately at each location = 10 touchpoints
